I'm on my way to China, Ping Zhou now. It's a 3 hour bus journey. Thank god I brought my iPhone, with my entertainment.
Arrived in hong kong at 9pm on 25th. This time round, no chauffeur to pick me up at the arrival hall but, to take public bus with dad back to Man King Lao.
When we reached Man king, aunt and uncle were there too. They just came back from States. So dad and I placed our bags and left for dinner. We went to eat my favourite Wan Ton Mee!! Still tastes as good ^_^ so that's for the first day. Got back, chat with aunt and uncle. Uncle was so happy and proud to introduce me the new iMac desktop he bought recently. Wow... The screen resolution all these so damn good and guess what? He asked me if I wanted one, he'll get it for me as a gift for university. How cool is that but I just got a notebook -_-"
26th march
Woke up at 6.45am to have breakfast yum cha at authenthic hong kong restaurant. Awesome and cheap breakfast, eat till you can vomit. The restaurant is mostly patronized by the elderly. I could feel the warmth there. I miss the times having yum cha with fellow relatives but I guess I can only meet them next weekend.
Aftermath, roamed around Jordan and Yau Ma Tei while dad gets his stuff done. We then took bus to The Peak. Met some tourists from Chicago in the bus :) this is my first time taking public transport up the peak as in the past, it was all chauffuer. The experience of having chauffeur And exploring around is totally different. I prefer to travel on own.
Around 2pm, we went back to Kowloon to meet aunt and uncle for afternoon tea/lunch, a welcome meal from them :) though it was an expensive meal, we won't get to eat that much with the amount of money in SG.
Went Man King to pack our luggages and set off to Ping Zhou.
I got to say that I dislike travelling to china. I would always hold back my tears thinking back how troublesome and difficult it is for my parents to travel to and fro. Especially my dad, twice in a month. He is a wonderful dad, apart from his nasty temper. Always giving his children the best, taking care of children before himself. I do gain a lot travelling alone with him. All these I guess I can't gain it from anyone else so far. I seriously look up to my dad. Here he is, lying on the seat beside me. He must be worn out :(
There is still a long journey to ping Zhou, it's 20.48 long way to gooo. I have yet to have my dinner.
Mode of transport till now, day 2. Plain WALKING, BUS & MTR.
Not the princess life as before. In the process of growing up! :) :) :)
With love, Laura
